            When I first recorded episode number one on March 29th, 2020 I had no idea what to expect. In fact I had yet to even throw any feelers out for prospective guests. It wasn't until weeks into the podcast that I realized most people record a few episodes before launching the first episode with nothing to follow. This entire thing could have tanked. It almost should have tanked in my mind because the person I had become in my addiction did some horrendous things that I thought were unforgivable.

          After recording the first episode I reached out to an old friend Kevin Pedersen. He did not even hesitate or question me at all. It had been over 5 years since we had last had any contact. All he would have heard of me was about my addiction and the countless trips to jail. There are no words. What he did for me I will never forget. He appeared on episode number 2 and is and will always be the most important guest on Hockey 2 Heroin Road 2 Recovery. Thank you for giving me a chance Kev. I love you brother. Following Kevin, I reached out to Jesse Paradis. A former teammate who I had not spoken to in a decade. He too did not hesitate. In fact he partnered with me and sponsored the show with his company Team Issued Ltd. I am eternally grateful to all of my guests. Without you, I have no show. It is my hope that in each episode you hear something you can relate to and just maybe something you hear can help you. If anything I hope you hear in my voice that there is hope.
